We know of good intelligence and bad. We usually equate intelligence with science or some scholarly knowledge about some subject. Intelligence, people believe, is the ability to figure out problems or devise things that no one else cannot. Intelligence is even equated to those who are crafty, smarter than another to overcome obstacles or make intricate plans. Intelligence is even attributed to the ability to figure out the Rubrics Cube on the first try.
There is one intelligence that no one really pays any attention to and in fact would consider this one as foolish or useless. This is because, this particular intelligence does not seek to “gain” something as the other ones will. With the others, there is notoriety, fame, appeal, importance, even financial advantage. The intelligence that speak of here in this article gains none of those things, because the moment you do, it is no longer that intelligence.
I speak about Intelligence of Good. The ability to know true good and exercise it no matter the circumstance.
This intelligence speaks and does good to all things. It is one that supports selflessness. It does not seek personal fame, glory or wealth, because it has no need of these things. This intelligence is usually seen in people who are poor, less than rich and these people who have this intelligence are not famous. If by chance someone tries to make them famous, this intelligence would do what is needed to move away from fame or glory, because in glory, fame or wealth, intelligence of good is lost. If a person seeks to become famous, glorified or wealthy while doing good, it no longer exists as intelligence of good, it is then merely pride, for him or herself.
Intelligence of good is a selfless intelligence, to serve, help, give to others for nothing in return. It is an intelligence that allows a person to see evil, overcome evil and always do good no matter. It does not do things to serve itself, it does things to serve and help others. Yet this intelligence is not foolish or blind. It knows that to serve anything evil or bad goes against it’s “intelligence”. Therefore a person who acts under intelligence of good is not fooled. If someone evil or selfish takes advantage of someone who exercises intelligence of good, the evil act does not diminish intelligence of good or make it foolish.
This intelligence of good has been spoken of in the scriptures. To do good to others that act evil toward you, never to do evil for evil, good trees produce good fruit and evil trees cannot. Intelligence of good is spoken throughout the scriptures.
Knowing this, we then see that those who call themselves Christian, but do wrong or evil toward others, are going against the intelligence of good that God teaches. Intelligence of good does not scheme against others, manipulate others, trick others, blame others, harm others or breed contention against anyone. This is because intelligence of good is from God and those that live and choose to exercise it, cannot do those things which I mentioned.
To know this makes you aware of the difference between worldly intelligence and the intelligence of God. To know this allows you to see evil for what it is, because intelligence of good never makes itself popular and never takes advantage of its work for itself.
In these latter days, there will be many to claim good, to show appearances of good, but as they do, watch carefully to see what these people do and live. The persons who really exercise intelligence of good will not be as visible unless they are actually in front of you or expressed toward you. Satan will perform miracles to the hungry and the sick and this will be publicized, shown widespread and many will praise it and worship it, even many who call themselves Christian. This then is not true good, but acts to trick and mislead.
As Jesus Christ did not speak up for himself when challenged during the time of his arrest, that is the work if intelligence of good and it is this pattern that we can know what is of God and what is not.
