Which denomination is right? Why are there so many Christian groups or churches? They either fighting with each other, contending, arguing and then believe that they have to be unified? This does not sound right, because to achieve unfiication as per the word of God, it is pretty much impossible because they all believe different things or believe in the same thing differently. I thought that the word of God speaks about “one mind” in the context of the exact same doctrine and practices. That is how I understand the Bible.

There is so much doubt created by all this. A kind of confusion that prevails even with all the investigation. When I look at this, a reasonable question is “Does God really want things this way that he would create so many different churches, with contrary doctrines causing so much confusion and misdirection? Is that what God gives to us that is suppose to save us?”

Let us briefly look at the focus of people in religious circles and what makes they faithful or not.

A person who reads the scriptures and from what is read, makes the effort to follow the teachings found in God’s word. Whether this be from the Bible or both the Bible and Book of Mormon, this person shows to be a good person doing good things. Assisting others, helping the hungry and needy, volunteers to groups that helps others as the sick, handicap, the less fortunate. Never seeking contention or endless argument or debate, but seeks edifying discussions that serves to strengthen or sustain good faith. Whether a member of this Church or not, this person shows the “spirit” chosen for their life and daily focus. For a good part of their daily life, they are peaceful and cheerful.

Gateway of AuthorityInsights do come to the faithful as to how his scriptural passages work with each other and to realize their true application. This is where true understanding of the gospel occurs.

It has been no surprise to me that insights or inspiration is a crucial part of learning the word of God. It is always by this method that we can learn how to understand the word of God and learn how God works. It is no different with how God protects his Church and his faithful.

It was with these insights that I learned about the “Gate of Authority”. A term that I use to describe how God protects his Church against Satan.

When I was approached by the LDS missionaries, I felt the Holy Ghost confirm that meeting was important. The Holy Ghost later confirmed that my membership with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was good and true. At no time did I have any concern about any “alledged” immoral actions of other Mormons.  My attendance to this Church was led by the Spirit, not by personal judgements of other people.

Ponder the account of Jesus Christ in the New Testament, where he spoke the doctrine of the Father and showed by example the principles of the Father to many in the jewish synagogues. Remember how much resistance he received from the Pharisees who disbelieved those doctrines. For example how the Phariee’s delared Jesus a violator of the Sabbath when he healed a person on that day. Jesus spoke to them “words” telling them “wisdom”, that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. How the Pharisee’s refused to listen, how wicked they were.

One day you are doing something that you know is not right, but you have a strong desire to do it. As you do this thing, you “feel” in the chest area a lowering of sorts, a diminishing as if things are being lowered within you. This is compared to the “good” feeling you had in general, when having kept the commandments and you were obedient. It is that good feeling that is lowered and heads downward. Despite what you feel, you continue with the thing you desired and soon, the higher feeling of goodness no longer resides in you. Depending on how long you continue, you feel more worldly or “darkened” and a kind of “lost” feeling begins to take place within you.
